How rude

Not having written blog for a while but kept studying English. I am wondering if I attend writing class next season. Since I have studied speaking intensively for 3 months, I still struggle with making mistake in grammar things. Writing properly and using proper grammar is weaknesses for me. I really want to improve them.

Anyway, I had linked an article about British English before (the table bellow). I got a chance to ask the meaning of "Interesting" to a British. He said people usually use it when your opinion is different from him but want to pay respect to you.

How interesting.

We non native English speakers speak too straight some times. The other day, I asked to interview people on the street, and one of them said "Not Interested! " to refusing me. I think it hurt me. I felt how rude he was. That means I have gradually been able to choose the words more politely and naturally, I hope.
