An English Learner's Diary

Day 1: Starting English Blog

I decided to write100 days diaries from today. I don't have any confidence that I make it, but It's better to start than do nothing! One reason to do this is practicing English, expressing my thought, way of thinking in English, the another reason is a desire to write something useful online.

To get some readers for my blog, there must be jokes, some good information or useful sources in this blog. I will try despite lacking of an idea!

For this memorable first entry, I give you useless my hi(her)story as an English learner. ^^; I become 41 this July and I restarted studying English from 40. I go English class in Tokyo 2days a week for 9 months which is going to end by March. There was a personal reason to decide to go to school(not serious, for my fun) and my goal is to enjoy video and radio without subtitle, to understand what native speakers talk and write. Do you think this is too late to start English? Once I did, but actually I don't. I met a classmate who is a woman restarted studying English from 63(after retired from a job), and she is extending her ability every year. That's amazing. To be honest, I did't do well in English class as a high school student, I hated it and was always sleeping at English laboratory class. I can't remember why I started to hate the class, but probably I didn't suppose I could find any useful things from those had been taught from high school teachers to communicate with English speakers, I don't suppose it's true, sorry for teenage Me!

Anyway, I quitted to attend English class from 18 years old, so that my long break was 22 years. However, I remember most of my English in 3 months, I also surprised that I remember verb conjugations. Oh, thank teenage me! Nevertheless, I still struggle with speaking, specially speaking accurately.
